I tried a search but came up empty. I'm going to have this beer on tap next week. I've had it in bottles and really liked it. Probably my favorite Imperial Stout. Has anyone had this offering on tap? Any opinions? Better than bottle?? Thanks...

Ive had it on tap a couple times and bottles just once. To me I think they were just about the same. If I had to pick one format for this it would have to be bottles because I think this beer would do better with a little age on it.

I had a 2012 on tap earlier this year, and I'm not certain that it was improved any. In fact, it was hoppier than expected. (IMO, FIS is one of the hoppiest RIS's when fresh.) My preference is for the bottle, too. I think it probably ages more gracefully than it would in keg.

There's also the matter of pour. In a bar setting, you are likely to be served the full pour in a single glass. Just personal preference, but I typically enjoy imperial stouts in a snifter with short pours so I can fully appreciate the aroma and facilitate warming.

I had it on tap recently next to KBS at Blind Tiger. IS was easily my favorite of the two.

I have had it on tap at Sharp Edge Brasserie in SW PA. It was pretty fantastic if i recall. I think you could serve Founders IS in one of the little paper cups from the water cooler and it would still crush most other readily available imperial stouts..
