I called Manchester Wine & Liquors and they said Founders would be released Monday. My main reason for calling was to see about a keg for our annual summer bbq. Would love to have some Centennial IPA on tap. The distro salesperson happened to be right there when I called and said very very limited kegs to CT, mostly limited to restaurants......so no go.

McLadden's in West Hartford is having a Founder's 'Launch Party' on Monday July 9th at 6pm.

"McLadden’s Irish Publick House & HDI/Franklin Fine Beers are proud to present FOUNDERS BREWING CO. to Connecticut. Join us Monday July 9th at 6pm. We will be featuring a number of their brews both on draught & in the bottle."

Sorry if that came off as dickish. Wasn't the intention. Reading it back, it did seem a bit stern.

Sweet, glad to hear that CT got FMB. I'm close enough to the MA border, and I went to college in MA that I'm used to the regular founders lineup. I gotta say this is awesome news for CT though.

For anyone excited to get FMB, you might want to see if it's still on tap at Prime 16 (it was yesterday) or elsewhere, as an $8 pour was all I needed to let me know I didn't need to buy a $15 bottle.

Yeah,I went half and split a $12.99 bottle with a friend earlier in the week that let me know I wasn't getting the $8 pour at Prime saturday night.....
Went around the corner and had some Fuzzy Baby Ducks @ Cask.....

I hope everyone in CT can agree that FBD is way better than FMB.

I have to say I was surprised by how underattended the tap release at Prime was. Often, the place is shoulder to shoulder well in advance, but I was able to walk right in a sit down an hour after tapping.

FBD is drinking much better now that it doesn't taste like raw hop cones!

even if FMB were getting raves instead of lukewarm reviews, if i had to choose i'd drink more FBD before trying FMB. that beer is just too good. there needs to be a scientific breakthrough such that 10~100x more citra hops are produced, so beers like FBD can be regulars.

re: founders in CT, i picked up a 6pk of founders porter today to celebrate it. hope to grab some fresh devil dancer soon as well.

I was talking to someone at harvest in WH and he said that they were not going to be able to get Devil Dancer, not sure if that means it is not coming to CT or if it is just going to be limited availability

I was shocked, and I mean SHOCKED there wasn't more people there. Every singlr other one I've been to it was a madhouse. At this, you could walk in and just get a table. Thought it was quite odd.
