Hopefully the right forum to post this but wanted to ask here where the other Europeans BAs find their Founders brews (out of regular beer trading with Americans). Ive been to a few shop/store and asked but it wasnt on their shelves. Turning to online sites like Saveur Bière, based in Lille didnt help. They have some Anchor, Sierra Nevada and other American breweries but no founders despite a pretty wide variety otherwise. Are there other sites that compete with Saveur Bière (they claim they deliver in all Europe and its true) where I could purchase Founders? Thanks.
They distribute in Sweden in the governement shops. I got a couple of Founders beers through trades with Swedish BA'er. I don't think you can buy them in Belgium.
Yep, Sweden gets a lot of Founders. I have quite a few still in my cellar. Other than Swedish monopoly I know Finland gets a few as well. Boxbeers.dk might also have some in stock.
Thanks! Yes they do and not that expensive.. Just have to make sure they can deliver where Im at. Imperial Stout is one I wanted to try for a while.
Lucikly for me Founders is widely available in Ireland. So much so that we even get a supply of limited seasonal releases such as KBS, Backwoods Bastard, Imperial stout, Breakfast Stout etc. Their core range such as All Day IPA, Centennial, Porter etc. can be found year round. They have been hugely sucessful since arriving here and it's pretty much grown from there. I'm pretty sure none of the stores here in Ireland that operate online delivery do international shipping. I've checked some UK sites that deliver across Europe and it doesn't look like they have any stock. Really surpised Saveur Bière doesn't stock any. Best of luck finding some Graeme

@Graeme24 No they didnt at the latest, sadly. I left them a polite note thanking them because they deliver within days to a local store and never had any broken bottles or glass, and suggested they could add Founders to their selection. I bought some in Belgium in January and also about a year ago via http://www.beer-city.be/ ... but when I just clicked that site to see if they still have it, it appears to be a different place. So much for that, I guess... I feel like I've seen it in elsewhere -- I'll keep an eye (and my memory) open and report back. Also drank some in Copenhagen at a hotel... I can't remember the name (didn't stay there, just stopped in for a drink).
