Looks like I will be heading to Fort Worth later on this week. I remember seeing a thread a few months back that Founders is coming to Texas. Are there beers available yet in FW and if so, what is available? Thanks in advance.
I've seen it at a few places. This was a week and a half ago so not to sure of the accuracy. Specs on S. Hulen has Alll Day IPA, Centennial IPA, and Double Trouble. That usually is my go to place, and the guy who works in the beer section is the best. Central Market on Hulen would be the other place to check out. They all of the above as well. Again, this was the last time I was looking for Founders, so I would call first to make sure they still have some. Also, I like hoppy beers, so those are the only ones that I really look for. If you are looking for any other one made by Founders I would ask. I have not personally seen any of their famous KBS, BS, Doom, or porters. Happy hunting.
Founders I've seen in FW: All Day, Centennial, Dirty Bastard, Double Trouble, KBS(but I'm more than certain they're long gone), Pale Ale(Dry Hopped) and Red's Rye(almost certain I've seen these in bottles somewhere, but for sure on tap). The 3 Spec's in FW, Central Market, Total Wine, and King's Liquor on Berry will be your best bet on finding bottles in the city. But if you care the venture a bit NE of Tarrant County... Hall's in Colleyville will. hook. you. up.
