Any stores in western NC? My parents have a cabin in southwestern NC and plan on going up there in a week or two but not sure where to send them. Did Atlanta get a big allotment of it?

NC as a whole gets it. I know Charlotte gets a bit of it, and Im guessing Asheville and Winston-Salem gets it as well. I would also bet that Mr. Peabody's in Boone has quite a bit of it.

Depending on where your cabin is, you'd be better off going to Asheville. Boone and Winston will be a little out of your way. UP could also hit up the shops in the Queen City as well. All areas around will have founders.

Depending on exactly where the cabin is, you also might consider stopping on the way in Greenville to check out the Greenville Beer Exchange.

True that. Greenville will most likely be closest to your route to eric Rudolph's hiding grounds. :grinning:

OP, hit GA. That's the closest. I'm not sure what stores carry it near the state line, but GA is the answer, unless you want a weekend in the Carolinas.

Both Alabama and Georgia get Founders, so technically those are your "closest" options from Florida.

I just picked up three 4 packs of FBS in Birmingham last week.... GA would probably be closest though

I go to Murphy, NC 5-6 times a year. A buddy of mine has a cabin there. You have several options for finding Founders in GA,NC.

North Georgia- Appalachian Beverage( Ellijay). Talk to Brady, he is their craft beer guy, very helpful and into the craft beer scene. I have picked up Centennial, Breakfast Stout, and even Double Trouble from time to time. They have the regular Founders lineup as well.

Western Carolina- Best bottle shop in the area is about an hours drive from Murphy to Sylva (PJ's BP). Greg the owner is very helpful and will try and order what he doesn't have. I have left here several times with cases of fresh Double Trouble every Winter.

    Hope this helps, Fin

Murphy is where my parents cabin is and they pass through Elijay on the way to get there so they definitely can stop by there! Thanks for the heads up!
