Yeah, I'm skipping it as well, was gonna drive from Eden Prairie to Plymouth after work but I'd rather just be home with this weather.

Decided to skip. Snownami "LetsRuinCBSForEveryone" has made the trip look unbearable. If it wasnt the opposite direction of home, i'd go.

iso: one sandwich bag of CBS.

Just pour a sample into one, and ill come pick it up tomorrow

Sounds to me like the people who aren't afraid of driving in a little weather are going to be bathing in CBS tonight.

It took me over 15 minutes to travel less than a mile on the freeway, but it isn't too crazy yet. This wasn't mentioned in advance, but they make you buy a $13 flight of 4 to get 1 CBS. I had the impression I could buy a single sample. Oh well.

Not that bad here but busy. No bar seating and a bunch of 4 toppers filled by single drinkers.

Just got here and ordered. While the flight thing is a little annoying, I never saw Big Lushious in stores and they have the new Black Rye, so I'm fine with it

Took me as hour to go 10 miles in the south metro. I'm skipping out.

Place is decently crowded. I think CBS lived up to the hype.

This is what I was complaining about the whole time. You are 'forced' to buy the sample set to try the one beer you haven't had. Let's take this one keg and use it to sell as many kegs as possible! Good marketing, but it made it easy for me to pass.

Never been there before, and thought the flight thing was kind of lame. But all the beers were tasty and the ke$ha / Christina Aguilera soundtrack was on fucking point.

Never had CBS on tap before but preferred it to fresh bottles of the original batch.

    lol at the music.

the food pairing was okay, being that only two actually featured the beers. first time having CBS and cant complain. enjoyed two flights.

personally, cant complain too much about the flight only tactics. they are just trying to make it so the most amount of people can enjoy it. im sure those that cant be at a tapping right when it starts enjoy that fact.

personally, have gone to multiple tappings 20-30 minutes after it was started and the featured beer keg was already blown. that sucks.

Arrived at 3:45 and got a place at the bar. CBS is great but not at much bourbon as I remember from the 2011 bottles when fresh. Bought 2 flights!

Got there 10 mins before tapping and got a seat at the bar. Flights were reasonably priced and I thought the flight requirement for CBS was legit to spread the love, not to mention the other offerings were excellent (Rubaeus, double trouble, black rye, curmudgeon, fresh harvest, big lushious, imperial stout). Food pairing was great as was the service. Very well done. No doubt the weather mitigated the &$€@show

I know right? It's almost like they're a business. Forcing you to drink the rest of that garbage. It's almost like they don't realize the best customers are the ones that only come once to get one pour of something you can't get anywhere else. A real wonder they're still a business.

I also commented many times on the fact that it was a good business practice.

They obviously wanted a full house or they wouldn't have promoted the hell out of it. If you want crap like cbs to go to your regular customers, then you have a silent random release and tell people to keep it on the down-low.

If I ran a bar with a CBS that's exactly what I'd do. I'd also force flights.
