Founders is expanding

I dream of Backwoods. I had it last weekend when KBS was on draft!

 

I wonder if they will ever distribute to Colorado...

 

I have some very good sources here in MD that say May 1 for Founders. I laughed in their face and said until I see it on the shelf...

 

This, I would take Backwoods Bastard over KBS if I had to choose.

 

They signed with Legends a week or so back, but I agree with the sentiment.

Until there is a Max's Kick-off party with CBS on tap.

 

I just wish we could get more than a couple single bottles of certain beers WITHIN MICHIGAN...

 

KBS release day was quite the time to be at Founder's taproom. Backwoods and '14, '15, '16 KBS. I was in heaven (so much so my wife had to drive...)

 

Hopefully they will brew more KBS so everyone doesn't have to deal with the clusterf$%^ of trying to get some...

 

This is exciting.

 

One of my friends who works sales at a brewery told me it *is* happening, and that Founders definitely signed with Legends

 

Yeah, we got Bell's finally in 2015 which was great addition, but Founders and Deschutes are the last 2 "big distribution craft" we still don't get in Maryland. Someday soon hopefully.

BIG NEWS. After many rumors and false starts, I'm so excited to share that Founders Brewing Co. is COMING TO BALTIMORE, HOWARD, FREDERICK, CARROLL, MONTGOMERY and ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTIES by way of Legends Limited Beer Distributing in MAY! (Remaining counties will see Founders later this year...)

“Our arrival in Maryland has been a long time coming,” said Co-Founder and CEO Mike Stevens, “We have a great fan base in Maryland and they have been very vocal about wanting to see our beer on local shelves. The Founders team is beyond happy we can finally make that happen.”

Kickoff events are TBD, but will be held May 23rd-26th.

EDIT: Not sure if "Baltimore" includes both the county and the city. Max's might be SOL for the initial release. :/

 

I was in Las Vegas just before Christmas and saw Founders on draft and at Whole Foods. A friend of mine just got back from there two weeks ago and enjoyed some KBS while out there.

 

I was there in November and it was everywhere.

 

Yea, now that I'm living in LV, I noticed that it's really easy to find most of their stuff.

 

Good to hear! If you end up missing out on the Sumatra Brown just let me know.
