Founders IS in Milwaukee...or lack thereof?

    Did I miss something, or was there a huge shortage of Founders IS in Milwaukee area this year?
    I beleive that even Woodmans didn't get a single bottle. Anyone out there know who may have some still?

    It seemed in really short supply. Discount Waukesha was selling as a 1 bottle limit and even then I didn't see any there on Wednesday.

    I do know Three Cellars in Franklin has it on tap right now, and I believe they just got in their 4-packs yesterday as well.

    Since it's been moved to a 3mo release this year, I'd think you might see more coming.

    Was at discount a few hours ago and there were 4 closed cases stacked on the floor waiting to be put on the shelves

    Discount panicked when they rec'd their first shipment- they were told that they "might not get any more" this year. So they put a strict limit on. Ray's seemed to have gotten at least a half-dozen cases, and it lasted for a week (might still be there for all I know) no limit. I would expect to find it at Sendik's, they get a lot of Founders stuff. I don't think there will be a shortage, this is a big money beer for them, and there hasn't been a shortage of any Founders seasonals this year in MKE. Even Harvest and Backwoods Bastard were relatively easy to come by.

    If it gets to the point where it's hard to get, I'd absolutely do a trade for some NG stuff. Hoping it doesn't get to that point though.

    This is the most Backwoods Bastard I've seen in the last few years, last year I could only manage to get 3 bottles; this time I've bought like 3 or 4 4pks without any effort. When I went out looking for some of the imperial stout two weekends ago I struck out completely, which I thought was odd, but did find more Backwoods Bastard STILL around.

    Closer to the border It has been pretty readily available. Backwoods wasn't though. Weird how that works

    Picked up some imperial at three cellars on Thursday. As of last week, sendiks on Layton still had 5 4 packs of backwoods bastard on the shelf.
