Quite possibly the most overrated beer out there. Though, I'll still try and get a few bottles.

Two years ago it was very easy to get in RI. I think I ended up with 4 four packs and stopped looking.

Last year I ended up with 3 bottles as most stores had 1 bottle limits. Its almost not even worth driving to a store for a single 12 ounce bottle.

My wife, bro-in-law, and myself were first to buy 4 packs at a liquor store chain in my area last year and they rang them up as Breakfast Stout…$9.99/4 pk…

I was able to get 3 last year from two stores that I frequent. One store sold me a single for $10 with no wait. The other store charged $6.50/ea., limit 2, which I waited 45 minutes for. I shared 2 with family.

As another BA mentioned: I was able to find it a few times thoughout the year on tap, so I probably wouldn't chase it anymore. I also know someone that is guaranteed 8 per year, so I can probably work something out if necessary.

I am a big Founders guy and KBS is a very good beer, but I feel it falls short of some of the other heavy hitters in the same space.

Never seen it actually hit shelves here, but a local shop will hold a 4-pack for me. Fantastic beer, but that's all I really want or need, since I'm not a big trader. Plus I'm not willing to put in more effort than that for any beer.

Not as big of a fan as I once was but I always grab a 4 pack no problem to age because I do love this beer at a year old.

5$ is nice per bottle. I know last year I paid 21.99 for a 4 pack.

I will just drink it on draft with relative ease. If I come across some bottles easily, I'll probably grab some but will not go "truck chasing" or do silly raffles for it.

I think it will be easier to find local bars with it on tap.

It would have to fall out of the sky and into my fridge, I'm not pursuing. Nonetheless, it won't take long to disappear in the Raleigh area. Tap should be easier...

Hell, Hopslam lasted a whopping 20 minutes here this year...I don't even want to imagine what will happen if the stores preemptively announce what time KBS will go on sale.

It never makes it onto the shelf here. You have to know precisely where and when it's sold or you'll never see it. I usually manage to find out exactly when to show up and get in line at my local store and get a 4-pack (occasionally, they will only get a case or two and limit purchases to 1 bottle per customer). A buddy of mine opts to put a bit more effort into it. He gets the scoop on several stores and usually ends up with 12-16 bottles.

I'm not a fan since they turned it into a weak coffee porter last year.

Two years before no problem getting KBS - last year I stopped by on the way home from work the day it came in, beer store guy laughed at me and said it was all gone in under an hour. Apparently people were waiting for it to be unloaded.
This year, I guess I will probably try to trade for a few bottles, bc I'm not taking off work for it.

Yeah, it is weird that every limited beer ever made gets worse and worse every year. I bet in a blind taste test you couldn't even tell them apart.

I have never seen it in stores. I usually end up trading for like 2 bottles
