Well - I scoured Sioux Falls bottle shops for KBS today and though I did not get my hands on any yet, I did lock in five bottles at two places. Stores start getting them on their normal delivery day starting Monday, and it is being doled out based on store volume. Taylor's is expecting "a few cases" on Tuesday, Fogies three cases on Wednesday, and JJ's "several" cases on Monday. I have one bottle reserved at Fogies, and a 4-pack at JJ's by pre-buying it and two 4-packs of FBS. Normally I would not buy into the buy-this-to-get-that arrangement, but I regularly buy FBS and it was a decent price. Lastly, a local taproom is planning a KBS event sometime soon. Based on what they did for a recent BCBS event, the entry fee gets you a small tap and a bottle and I believe a discount on other taps.
There is some KBS left at some of the Hy-Vee's in town ranging from 20.99-22.99 depending on which one. I cant believe Taylor's is saying Tuesday everyone else seems to have it out in town already.
JJs has already presold their entire allotment, just stopped by. Hyvee on Minnesota has a few 4 packs left at $21.99 each, no individual bottle sales.
