Picked up some today! What a great find for all of us. Great store, glad they got this. Pete and team there super nice, my favorite store.

For those within driving distance, Glen Cove just tapped bcbs and bcbbw today for growler fills on top of KBS which is running very low indeed. Cheers.

So I went back there today and found out that the kbs on tap was dated 3/21/13, which makes sense. I was wondering how Glen Cove randomly was the first to get kbs and got it on tap.

Yep saw that as well. Finished a 64 oz. growler with friends yesterday. A year does that beer well.

Drinking it with some friends tonight. He gave me a taste and it was delicious. The guy was telling me he liked it better than bcbs and bcbbw but the better comparison is bcbcs, which they didn't get.

Damn, at that $/oz. ratio, a sixer would set you back $33.75! It better be world-rocking at that price.

$30 for a 64oz growler of KBS is actually a pretty decent price. 12oz bottles of the KBS sell for about $8 per bottle on Long Island when they are available.

I was going to say, even those who get it towards retail price, $24 for a 4 pack (48 oz.) are getting the same price as that growler fill.

This ain't no session beer. A growler of this barrel aged gold will cost a bit more, but it's sure worth it. Great value.

Love the regular Breakfast Stout, but KBS was never really on my radar because I figured it would be just too hard to find/acquire (not a trader). But if I happen to stumble across some like the OP, I just might have to splurge.
