Founders KBS: Special Reserve

    I just stumbled across a few reviews for this. Has anyone heard about this being released? It looks like it is 15% abv and that it is the 2012 KBS left in the barrels for an extra year. I think that I would trade my entire cellar for a sip of this...

    It is called Devil's Cut and was released on draft at this past weekends Founder's Black Party.

    It was awesome. They tapped it at least 3 times throughout the day so many people could experience it. They basically kept the tap handle open and moved glasses under it until it emptied. It was very boozy, a real sipper. Although, we did see a guy slam an 8oz pour of it. Poor (or lucky) bastard......

    Sounds mighty tasty, KBS is so damn smooth it would be interesting to see how this bad boy compares. Awesome name though.

    It's not everyday a beer comes along and makes you ask "CB what now?" This shit was amazing. Definitely hotter than BCBS, but I felt the chocolate came through big and mellowed it out from being a bourbon bomb.

    Founder's staff were running around picking up laptops, cellphones and tablets laying about or in the pockets of passed out attendees and writing BA reviews as quick as possible.
