I need help finding this beer if anyone has any stragglers hanging around some place that they know of I would love to buy them I'm a big blueberry fan and didn't really get to check this beer out fully. I am in the NY area so Massachusetts Connecticut I'd consider driving to the beer place to grab them. I'm a huge founders fan and I'm really bothered that I didn't get a chance to try these thanks.

I'm not sure where in NY you are, but if you check beermenus there are a couple places that also have it in the NY metro area in addition to what sulldaddy posted.

I mean this sincerely and not as a joke, but I hope you are also an old beer fan if you are gonna drive for hours and spend over $20 a bottle on this beer. Make sure you call any store before hitting the road since an online inventory list might be highly inaccurate.

I am also a huge blueberry fan, and a sucker for buying stouts with blueberry somehow incorporated. I have always been disappointed, but never as much as I was by Lizard of Koz.

Part of this is on me . . . the beer (or, at least the bottling I had which was 2015-2016 timeframe) had a very cough syrup like consistency and flavor concentration to it and would probably be best in 2 ounce servings . . . and I had a 750ml bottle and a shortage of people to share with.

I mention that in case you don't find it that you might feel a little less disappointed. That said, maybe it ages well or maybe Founders did another batch or maybe my taste in dessert beers is not quite mainstream . . . after all the good folks at Founders were willing to put there name on it so I suspect someone likes it.

    Good luck in your quest.

There is a Shop Fair supermarket on Fulton in Brooklyn on the edge of Ft Greene that had a shelf of this dusty stuff last summer. Beer guy kept moving it around, but it never shrank. Good selection for a grocery store, aside from the stale growler station.
