    On tap at Grumpys NE.

I was delighted with it! Sweet and fruity on the front, with the long burn on the back. Its a chili beer, and its not overstated. I have a higher heat tolerance, so i could see some people having problems with it.

Luckily, they had Lagunitas Fusion 15 and 16 on tap to follow up, so it was a good night.

Anyone else get in on the hot action?

Consensus among a number of BAs was that it was tasty on the front but a bit too much heat on the end. Hid the 10% ABV well though.

My favorite wing sauce at BW3 is the Mango Habanero, so I figured I would like this as well.

First impression was a little too much habanero, but either got used to it or it mellowed as the beer warmed.
Ended up getting a second pour, and same thing...got better as it warmed.
I wouldn't jump over a fence for it, but it was pretty decent for what it was.
I did just pick up 1 bottle at Princeton's ($12.99), but that will probably be it.

    Agree on the Fusion.
15 was tapped out by the time I saw it, but rounded the night out with a 16 and really liked it.
    Are these tap only?
I guess I've never seen them yet.

I am pretty sure that the lagunitas were tap only. My buddy and I got two of the last pours on the 15. I liked the 16 better anyways.

And you are spot on, as the beer warmed, the heat was cut down a bit.

The Fusion series is draft only. Tony @ Grumpys NE told me they'd get more Fusion 15 today.

Got a bottle yesterday at Liquor Barrel St Louis Park. Was told they got 12 bottles total. Drank it last night and its very tasty and just the right amount of heat for me but I like SPICY stuff.

    Mango. Habanero.

Another delicious (albeit polarizing, I'm sure) beer from the Backstage Series.

    Love it.

I'm generally not a spiced beer fan but I really enjoyed this one. The mango flavor was great up front and the habanero burn wasn't overwhelming but did linger for quite some time. I definitely might need to track down another bottle.

I'm a little slow these days, is this one already gone? Tried a few of my usual haunts & it seems like it was snapped up instantly.

I don't think it's even hit most places yet.

Worst "beer" I've ever tried and I'm a Founders fanboy. Nothing but heat, nothing mango in the least bit as it's just too hot to taste anything other than the habanero. It just keeps getting hotter as you drink it. I was looking forward to this as I love fruit beers.Try it and buy it at your own risk and only if it is something you are used to drinking and have developed a taste for.

Funny how palates differ...I had it on tap today and thought it was VERY fruit forward and that the heat did a good job of balancing the sweetness of the mango. I'd would, however, say that being a fan of mangoes and hot food is requisite to being a fan of this beer. Picked up a bottle to eat with some pulled pork here in the near future.

Maybe the bottle is a bit different? The tap i had was prominent fruit then the heat, and as it warmed, it mellowed.

Seconded. The tap i had at Grumpy's was primarily mango, with a warming spice heat rather than an overpowering one. Good stuff, although I probably won't seek it out in bomber form.

Saw a few bottles yesterday about 5:00 pm at St. Anthony Village Hwy. 88 when I was there scooping up CW BB Scotch Ale.
