I usually have access to Founders backstage series releases and if I want them 3 or 4. I was just curious to see if this could bring me some of my big wants. Would this pull a BA Behemoth or any of the BA versions of Alpha Klaus? I know this is kind of a venn diagram problem, but just looking for some insight. Thanks all.
    Cheers

    No. Probably not.

Would adding some Indy Locals help? A KBS or off the shelves?

I think only time will tell, I mean the previous backstage beers outside of CBS don't seem to pull anything massive that I have seen.

I agree with this statement. Its hard to tell yet. CBS was nearly impossible for some to get, and Blushing Monk sat on the shelves for months.. Which will it be like? Time will tell

BA Behemoth was only a ~450 bottle release at the brewery, so it will probably take a similarly limited beer to get it, but you never know.

KBS or even Indy locals is just too close to home to entice someone with these bottles I think, but you never know

I think that you are talking beers on 2 different levels. The FFF beers were low bottle count, brewery only releases. FMB will be widely distributed with a much higher bottle count. CBS only has the pull it does because of it's prior reputation.

Have you seen any of these releases around here? I'm going to be gone when they're released at the brewery :slight_frown:

My previous statement was from my experience here.. I got no CBS, but could have bought 100 Monks. So, i guess the answer is yes it will probably come here. Just dont know how hard it will be to acquire any.

Think of it this way....a potentially off-the-shelf brown ale for a brewery-only <500 bottle release of a barrel aged barleywine? I dunno if that jives.

If I get a bottle, I will certainly share it with you. If I get more than 1, of course 1 will be yours.

Also I'd imagine since it isn't barrel aged there is going to be way more FMB available than CBS/Better Half.

Im hearing a no on the BA behemoth, but the Klaus variations? I think those are less desirable if im correct and people are more willing to trade??? I appreciate all the feedback.

I wonder when we will know the answer, but I agree that presumably there should be a lot more to go around

I kinda doubt it, and here's why: by that point (maybe even at this point), most people who bought their bottles to trade have already unloaded them. The people still hanging on to them are most likely FFF fans who really want to drink them (perhaps side-by-side with the regular Klaus), so they'd be unwilling to part with them cheaply.

I wouldn't bank on it, but who knows? I'm not sure what all goes into making Frangelic Mountain Brown, other than deliciousness. :grinning:

Very good point, Sounds like I might be outta luck, Ill still post something and Im gonna assume having some extra FMB wont be a bad thing

Yeah, I was just going off the assumption the barrels were the bottleneck point for their barrel aged stuff, but who knows maybe the ingredients form FMB are rare and that will limit their production.
