This isn't Yellow Bus....and hazelnuts aren't exactly rare.

I just had a hazelnut coffee this morning and it was all of $1.50 for a 16oz. I could even go back and get more if I wanted to.

I hope you're right and that there are cases of this sitting around shelves when I get back from my trip. :grinning:

I am guessing no. FMB will be distributed, and available to most people that would have a BA Klaus or behemoth. Another point would be the bottle count, there is a very good chance(nearly guaranteed) that there will be way more FMB bottled than either of the others. It also seems from other ISO:FT posts that the BA Klaus and behemoths are fetching quite a high bounty. Good luck, but I think you may have a better shot with other beers.

At least one or two of the BA Alpha Klaus variants had lower bottle counts than BA Behemoth. I think possibly all three did. However, they are all sitting comfortably in my cellar with my BA Behemoth, so I can give you the counts tomorrow. I've been told the BA Alpha Klaus with Plums is the best of the lot multiple times.

i think people may lack a bit of context regarding CBS...

CBS rode on the back of years of serious, serious demand. they could release a tap room only beer agreed upon by locals to be far superior to CBS, at a lower bottle count than CBS, and it wouldn't trade like CBS. before the shelf-wale crowd pulled into beer geek town, CBS was extremely renowned and sought after, and occasionally traded really high in the form of questionable-quality hand bottles. people frequently bullshat on BA about how they'd had it on tap one time and it was the best beer they'd ever tasted.

it's (sort of) like if russian river released an 8,000 bottle batch of pliny the younger. it would fly off the shelves and trade much higher than if russian river released 1,000 bottles of a new, superior DIPA. but with CBS, you don't need to get the trade done in under a month.

some new coffee brown ale won't have that kind of pull, even if it tastes better.

We know from experience this simply isn't true
