The new Founders (Nelson, NZ) range -

what do people think? I think its a cool concept, 6 beers inspired by each of the generations of brewers they have had in the same family owned brewery since 1854. They have seen pretty wide distribution in Wellington, NZ I wonder if they are going far and wide or not...

    I tried two so far:

the 1981 - could this be the best NZ pale ale ever? I drank it expecting an IPA and was dissapointed but still enjoyed it then a friend pointed out my mistake. 2009 - Too much malt? was very thick (gravity) for an IPA - definitely not a US IPA in style which i expected.
