I was just curious if anyone out there has any founders beers that aren't bottled anymore besides nemesis 09/10. Shoot me a message if you do and are looking to trade them.

Man, my initial reaction to reading "Founders not being bottled anymore" was my heart skipping a few beats. Then I thought hey, maybe they are going to can everything! Canned Breakfast Stout?!!! FUCK YEAH!

Then my brain caught up to what you were really asking and not stating. I'm sad now. Thanks.

Blushing Monk is never ever ever being made again. Hence, not bottled either.

I saw you say this in a thread where you were trading a BM (http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/ft-blushing-monk-iso-list.27479/)

Out of curiosity, how do you know the full future of Founder's? Even if you had a press release given to you by Founder's stating they will never make BM again...they still may make it in the future. There have been many a brewery that stated they would not make a beer again only to, surprise, make it later down the road.

[edit] Or are you perhaps using a technicality that they are not legally allowed to use the name again, albeit it will be made again and be the same beer but named differently?

I'm not trying to argue with anyone. Founders said a while back that since it uses a different yeast than. all of their other beers, they will no longer be making it. I am just assuming they are trying to streamline production?

And for the sake of it just being too damn early, I am going to assume that you are not putting my integrity into question with your first statement.

Technically, Founders can make and bottle whatever the hell they want down the road. But for the foreseeable future, Blushing Monk will not be available in bottles.

    Not in the least.

Your initial post in the FT:ISO thread was the first time I had seen someone state with assurance that Blushing Monk was never going to bottled again. I had heard this alluded to, but never read a definite article on the matter. Then I saw your post in here saying "Blushing Monk is never ever ever being made again".

I was just curious what information you have on the subject to be able to say with such conviction that a beer will never, ever, be made again, that's all. It's been made and bottled twice before, why never again? Just looking for some insight. Also, the link to your original post was merely a point of reference to your prior concurring statement in this thread.
