Founder's Palm Reader and Sumatra Mountain Brown (12 oz.)

Officially in south Florida

 

Just had my first Sumatra pour from the bottle. It's a fantastic Brown. Coffee lovers will dig this brew.

 

SMB is awesome beer as good as FBS. Ibu tastes similar though at a lower count. Stores just ran out the FBS and within the week received the SMB.

 

This beer is extremely smooth and easy to drink while still having powerful flavors. Bought two four packs so far.

 

Harvest in West Hartford and Manchester Wine & Liquors said they got some in yesterday afternoon on FB

 

Absolutely delicious. Appears very very dark, almost like a stout. Coffee taste is very similar to FBS. Highly enjoyable for coffee lovers

 

Just found some in Bridgeport and grabbed (2) 4 packs ... Will try one later after dinner.

 

Just bought a 4 pack in Nashville yesterday for $11.99 & it's delicious!

 

Love sumatra coffee and pretty much everything by Founders. See catfisher is in PA, has anyone had it in NJ yet?

edit: should've checked menus 1st, looks like it is all over in NJ, will have to get some.

Just got the second shipment in Chicago. They have a few cases at Binny's Lincoln Park.

 

Another excellent beer from Founder's, working on my third four-pack of Sumatra Brown.

 

It's made it to New Jersey. I'll be working my way through a 4-pack tomorrow.

 

Picked up a couple more 4pks of this yesterday. The coffee is integrated perfectly into this beer imo. It really opens up once it warms up a bit. For those interested, the coffee was supplied by Ferris Coffee & Nut per Founders FB.

 

Holy shit is this brew fantastic.

 

Mosaic Promise was fantastic. So simple yet so effing good.

 

Anyone going to age a few had one so far and was great would like to see how it is in 6 months

 

I had two. I enjoyed them, but would like to see how they taste with the coffee mellowed out a touch. I plan on aging the other two I have awhile. I haven't decided how long, but they are in the cellar waiting.

 

Has anyone not been able to sleep after having one of these in the evening? I couldn't fall asleep for over 2 hours and I wasn't sure if it was attributed to this beer.
