I've only ever had one bottle of Red's Rye. I enjoyed it and was always looking to buy another sixer. However, all the sixers I ever saw were outdated. While I know the price will be the same minus two bottles, I'll probably pick up at least one 4 pack to try some fresh stuff.

Bottle shop here posted a notice about the price changing from $5.99 to $10.99. I guess I should've jumped on it when it was $5.99.

It's gonna sit at that price. There's just too many other better beers that are $9.99/6 pack.

I have a hard time believing that Reds is gonna be on the same limited release upc as Curmudgeon and Double Trouble, around here that would be $10.99 ($2.75 each) compared to the $8.99 sixer price it used to be ($1.50 each).. My guess is (I hope) it will be the same $8.99 price it used to be ($2.25 each, which is a fair price for fresh Red's)

$15.99 for a 4-pack here, just saw it today. Glad Founders is finally in Florida but gonna be hard to shell that out often.

I love Red's Rye! Unfortunately it is very hard to find fresh around here. There are cases of this sitting around from who the heck knows when!!

It sounds like Founders has really screwed the pooch with their pricing and bottling schemes. They make All Day IPA year round, Founders Breakfast Stout goes from 4 pack to 6 pack back to a 4 pack. And now Red's Rye costs 10$ for a 4 pack (usually more based on markup). I'm still going to buy a 4 pack or 2 of Red's since it's only in bottle once a year now but if they charged like 2$ a bottle I would buy a few more.

Where did you see it for that price?

$14.99 a 4 pack here in Michigan today, at the local D&W... ugh, thats more expensive than the 6 pack would have been last year (Usually $10.99 a 6 pack for most of Founder's regular brews). Going to have to say, while tasty, there are many other brews that are a similar with a better price point.

    RIP Founders.

Bell's would never gouge their customers like this.

It isn't Founders that's doing it. At their brewery it's being sold for 10$ a 4 pack. It's stores that are gouging their customers for Founders product. They are making it up 25%-50%

Every store out there? I doubt it. $10 is still too high for a 4-pack of this beer

Founder's just hit Florida and I threw one into my mixed 6-pack at a local bottle shop, then I looked down to see $5.19 for a single bottle. No thank you

If they are using the same SKU as Curmudgeon, it would make sense that a lot of stores are pricing it that way.

Most stores I've been to mark up Founders speciality releases at least 25%. The trick is going to enough stores and knowing which ones don't screw you. On average I've seen Rubaeus at 13 or 14$ and it should be at 11 or 12$

I just picked up a bomber of Red's from the taproom yesterday and it's still $9 for a growler. So for anyone close by to Founders at least, this is much better deal.
