I don't think the other states that Founders distributes in were going to start a grassroots campaign to get New Hampshire's wacky law changed. Just doesn't seem like a good use of resources.

The new label is for Michigan only

OK, so that is weird if they don't even have such a law.

they don't need "such a law" to change a label

Wait, so will this increase or decrease its trade value?

True, but the way they phrased it made it seem like it was a reaction to a law, no?

Where I used to work I heard a few people complain about a baby on the label, I never thought it would get this far....I thought they were complaining because they were in the south too

There were more than a few humorous posts in this thread, but this one actually made me laugh out loud.

I hope the label change only applies to Michigan.

All I know is, if Founders is looking for a new baby, my granddaughter wants the job!!!!

There's still plenty of the 2014 on the shelves in NY, baby and all.

Backstage beers have all been released at 10.99 here in Nebraska. Are they really $20 up there?!?

Blushing Monk is $16.99. Dissenter was $16.99, Big Luscious was $16.99....
The thing that pisses me most off about Founders is that while I work 10 minutes away from the brewery, they ship their cases months after they have been bottled. Last week I got a "fresh" case of Centennial that was bottled in May. They can't even send fresh product to the market that made them. We got Devil Dancer a few weeks ago and the same thing, it was bottled in May, sat on at the distributor for a month and a half, then sent out. When you can't get fresh product out to your home market, yet I can get Stone that was bottled a week prior to getting it, something is wrong.

While I do find it ridiculous, 'fucking horrible' is usually reserved for car crashes and natural disasters. The beer is still the same amazing product.

Where do you see that information? My reading of the COLA information doesn't reveal any specific state usage.

I asked Founders. The horses mouth is much quicker and accurate than a bunch of bs conjecture on a beer forum. I still don't know why Michigan's label is changing? Send them an email

Is it a ridiculous, out-dated law? Yes. Will it change my perception of FBS? Nope. The over-reaction by some to Founders changing the label is interesting to me. The outrage shouldn't be leveled at Founders, but the over-reaching, over-regulating dumbasses in government.
