Have you had any NG fruit beers? I wouldn't put Blushing Monk over any of them. To boozy last time it was bottled.

I have not had the privilege of having any New Glarus, though the last time I had Blushing Monk back in January all I got was rich, sweet, full bodied raspberry.

The bottle I had was very hot, but I had it on draft a few months later and it was perfect. All NG fruit beers are amazing even at +/- 5%. I would suggest trading for some.

I just had it at a tasting as well as NG Belgian Red and liked the Blushing Monk better...BOTH were outstanding though

This is great news. Now, if they would only bring back Black Rye.

Picked up a few 4packs of this last night. I think it is the first time I have grabbed a Founders releae before most others in other states. Tastes superb, perfect for a hot summer day after mowin the lawn.

Any chance it makes it way out to NY? I had it this past week at Savor and it was awesome. Never really like fruit beer but this was completely different from what I was expecting

No Sir, I just like beer, and well made beer. This one, as usual for Founders, fits the bill.

Have you had FFF Ham on Rye? (http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/26/41420 )That might be the closest you'll get. When I had it, it tasted eerily just like a liquid Ham on Rye sammich, in a good(?) way.
