Founders Rübæus (2013)

I'd love to try this... Never can go wrong with Founders

 

Founders has been saying the launch is July 1st, but I can attest first hand that it has trickled out lightly in SE mich. Select stores had it last week, a few more get a case here or there this past week.

Yep - had some at one of my stops last Friday. Still had some Dan's Pink Skirt too as a bonus. Hoping to find some at a shop a little closer to home today (at a little better price too)

 

Devil dancer is here and gone. U may be able to round sum up at the taphouse but everywhere ive been had it tuesday and now is gone.

 

Where in NC?

 

Will be out in NJ starting 6/24

 

Anyone see it in Chicago yet?

 

They still had a bunch at Founders today when I was there. There was even some Doom left.

 

I was there last night but didnt look in the case to see what they had or not.

 

Anyone know how much Rubaeus goes for at the Founders store? Store by me was selling Rubaeus for 14$. I bought a few 4 packs but will gladly drive 2 hours to Founders to stockpile some if it's like 10$ at Founders store with no bottle deposit

This has been at the Raleigh stores since last Wednesday or so. I picked up a 4 pack at Ridgewood for 11.99 last week. After trying one over the weekend, may have to pick up another if they have it..

 

That was going to be my question. It reminded me sort of a baby Monk and found it much better than cerise, glad they released this brew

 

a store near me that i have never been to before had two cases of it sitting at the checkout. i asked the cashier if they had been checked in and could i buy a 4-pack, to which she replied "those are a special release and for our beer club members only." guess i'll have to check my go-to store tomorrow when they get their deliveries in. can't wait to have this beer again, it was delicious when i tried it at the founders event earlier this month.

 

store near me got this today.. decided to bust their case into singles.. which is fine with me.. but not at $4.99 ea... I'll pass

 

Damn that is a ridiculous markup what do they think this is KBS?

 

^ I guess so.. they generally always handle founders poorly at this store so i should have figured. It was either going to be a great deal or horrible... this time it was horrible.. When RIS hit they had 6 packs for $10.99, KBS they lied through their teeth about.. Harvest Ale was ok.. each time it's a crap shoot

 

Has anyone in the Indianapolis area seen this yet? Really looking forward to trying it.

 

I'm wondering the same about Southeast Michigan ... bottle shop expected them in last week, but their weekly beer update didn't include it.
