Thoughts on aging? 9% but guessing coffee would fade.

I don't think I'd age this one very long, but it depends on your personal taste. If you like how loud the coffee is right now, then you may not like how it fades. On the other hand, if you think the coffee is too prominent, then cellar it for a while. Perhaps the sweetness of the big Brown Ale base beer will show itself a bit more. I think it's a nice beer as is - I like the maltiness on the finish that balances the coffee a bit.

On a somewhat related note, I can only hope that the "hazelnut" in the Frangelic Mountain Brown has faded. I have a couple left and I'm almost scared to open them.

Just had one. Way too much coffee for my tastes. I hope it mellows. A lot.

As for Frangelic, that beer was too thin fresh, I can't imagine what it tastes like now. Sadly I have a customer promising to bring me one soon to share, so I'll get to see just how awful it is now.

I thought this beer is perfect right now. Don't know what age will do unless you think the coffee is a bit much and a few months may let that fade. But I say drink now its tasty!
