What changes do you feel are going to happen in this monster of a barleywine in the next 5 years?

I'd say it'll get more barleywiney

Don't know but I have two more bottles that I'm going to cellar for at least a year.

It's a wheatwine, a style that I'm not very familiar with. But I have 3 bottles so I am also very curious about how it will develop.

If your asking what the beer will be like aged for 5 years? Only time and your taste buds will know that 1.
Not getting that 1 down here. not to mention no cellar. Experience is different on each beer, but one has TO taste the fresh 1 to know of the SAME year batch. I waited once for 2 years on DFH old school bw. It helped it mellow some.

I had a five month old bottle and it was much worse than it was fresh. In fact, it was so bad that I think it was a rotten bottle, rather than the resultant taste of a few months of age.

Beware the sediment. Every clear bottle I've had has been pretty good, but the one bottle with massive suspended sediment was drain-pourable.

It's going to take a Bizarro World trip and turn into an awesome IPA.

One can only hope the sweetness dies down.
