Is there going to be a separate line for pictures with Hayden Panettiere? That might be the line to camp out for.

 

I don't know about you all, but assuming this snow comes as we expect; I plan to get there around 10:00 tonight and start work on my snow castle.

I anticipate having 2 rooms completed by 1:00 - 2:00am. It should sleep ~6 people comfortably and keep the elements out. the drawbridge and moat might take a little longer, but in the likely event of a Neckbeard & rival FIB* invasion, it will be well worth it!

I was looking for an activity to wile away the hours. Snow sculptures sounds ideal. 8)

 

Dark Horse is not allowing people to start forming a line until 5:30am. I was told by some reliable sources that that are going to tell people to leave if they arrive earlier. They are concerned with the extreme cold and don't want to the liability of potential hypothermia. Just an FYI.

Even if that was true, there would just be a pre-line line starting directly outside the radius of Dark Horse's jurisdiction.

 

So if I dig my spot out in line, it can be held using a collection of old furniture and discarded children's toys right?

Saying stuff like this just pisses off the dark horse employees that are now going to get 1000 phone calls today asking them to verify this. Dark horse wouldn't be liable, it's not like they are telling people that they have to line up early. Plus I've camped out 14+ hours for Black Friday in colder weather than this and worst buy didn't seem concerned with liability (because there is no liability)

 

But.. but.. would it be the definitive pre-line line?

Also, what's this crap about putting down some chairs in line and leaving? Since when do empty chairs keep your spot in line??

 

Steebo posted about that earlier because some guy did this right in front of our group last year. When confronted, he was pretty much a dickbag and kept claiming he was out there all morning even though none of us saw him until about 15-30 minutes before token time.

 

Chairs don't hold spots in line. Anyone who attempts this, I will personally douse your chair in lighter fluid and we will set it ablaze for warmth.

2-4" of snow, temps in the 20s. So, so jealous.

Sure beats the freezing-rain-that-briefly-turned-to-snow-before-switching-back-to-freezing-rain-which-left-a-mud-pit-outside-the-brewery from last year.
