Obviously a good part of the fun is bottlesharing and enjoying the party, but it certainly would suck to get in line, wait all day and still not be able to buy any BBPt5. They should set a firm limit, give out tickets (1 per 4-pack, multiples up to the case limit) and stamp your hand as soon as you arrive and ask for them, and when they run out, announce that so everyone can be disappointed right away and save time doing better things.

 

The brewery burnt down, 4 Elf will be cancelled.

 

Lake Superior is telling me Three Pairs of Legs may be bottled...boing boing boing!

 

lets hope they don't change it to sour three pairs of legs a week before (looking at you 3 guy off the scale).

I just hope everyone realizes this year that the employees working for Dark Horse worked their tails off last year to wax and individually number nearly all bottles that were sold at the 2012 party. I suspect many of the same folks will go through a similar process this year, and from what I've been told, they don't get paid OT for their efforts. It's a grind, and they really were trying their best.

That said, a ticketing system should at least make the process a bit more fluid. (Fingers crossed)

 

come on now, I said it as a joke on this forum and someone further back in the line thought it was serious. When someone asks the question on BA, "which bottle is going to sell for the most on ebay?" do you think he's serious? I was admittedly tipsy and in the middle of a brew sesh last ngiht (salted caramel gose turned out lovely by the way) when I read the original post so I got miffed, but I'm letting it pass. FIB's are good at sarcasm, its one of chicago's chief exports. back on topic.....any other hints on something in barrels, showing up in bottles, or on tap?
