I don't care how, I want it now. Seriously, Id like 2 of everything on that list (besides the PT5) veruca salt style (well maybe one of the raspberry sours for schadenfreude purposes).

Line or ticket, me and a buddy stood in line for the entire day while our wives kept running us beers the whole time. met some great people in line, lost my ability to see the color 9, and then feel asleep for several hours only to get up and drive back to metro Detroit to work that Sunday morning. And I'd do it all over again. SQUAD!!

Wasn't the 4 elf winter warmer originally announced as being in rum barrels?

I heard it's completely ticketed so you can be sure to get your allotments after buying the ticket.
Waiting in line would be simply waiting to pick up your "already paid for" beer.

    Fully plan on being there.
    Hope its ticketed.

Not sure there isn't anything on that list I wouldn't be happy to buy.

Unacceptable. Lambeak wants beer with Lambeak in name.

Has anyone actually had the 13th anniversary beer? After last year I would be hesitant to buy anything I had not tried yet. As crappy as it was at times waiting in line last year, it sure saved me a lot of money by letting me try beers first.

Hotel room booked, now it's time to begin saving!

1000% agree. I am not buying anything I haven't tried.

    This.

The one big thing I took away from 4elf last year was the way the barrels were cared for. every barrel had a plastic bung with a cheap homebrew airlock wedged in. All of them were bone dry, meaning that all were exposed to open air. After that, it made sense why one (or more) beers that weren't meant to be sour turned (Aigre Plead the 5th, King of the Forest, Sour 3 Guys) and why all of the Lambeaks tasted like nail polish remover. Even BB Plead the 5th has a faint amount of oxidation when fresh that, for me, gets worse with time.

If I can't taste it beforehand, I'm not pulling the trigger. and I'll probably avoid anything C&C anyway due to how fucked up all the corking jobs were.

Now you fellas have talked me into not buying without trying. I guess they just seem good at first glance.

I bought some King of the Forest months after and still haven't opened it. Was that released at 4 Elf? If so, any good or should I just throw it in as an extra to an unsuspecting trade partner?

This. Opened a 2012 BBPt5 last week and the oxidation has gotten significantly worse. May have been a bad bottle, but I do not recall it being as prominent when fresh(er).

For me, there's always a cardboard taste to the finish, very minor when fresh but builds with time.

I opened a '12 BBL Plead and it was a beautiful thing. No oxidization at all (and I am very sensitive to it).

Maybe I missed it, but has there been any indication of what the anniversary beer actually is?
