I was reading a local charity mailer the other day and in it there was an interview with Jason Alvey of the Four Firkins. In the article, he mentioned working towards opening a second location. Anyone have any other information on this? Location? Timeline?

No word on timeline, but I've heard the same thing. I believe they're targeting the east side of the Twin Cities.

Yes, they have been looking at possible locations in Woodbury.

They are wasting their time and money. Go the Surdky's route and concentrate on having one mega store vs. two mini stores.

Surdyk's actually has two stores now. There's one in the airport.

...and jack their prices sky high on limited releases.

That location those locations were a coup worthy of Jack Farrell. On-sale deli (with some take-away options), wines for sale, gift wrapping...

Is it legal to crack your own beer stowed in the overhead compartment, once again*?
