Odds are good of another release next Monday. They skip a week every here and there, but have something new just about every week.

Make sure you check out their website for the days they are open. My visit was pre-COVID 2020 and from memory the taproom was only open a couple of days of the week. I think Wednesday afternoons and Saturdays. I was lucky that our return trip from skiing in the Adirondacks was a Wednesday so this timing worked for me.

    Cheers!

Yeah I think they’re still closed, in-house. One day.

Fox Farm is definitely open for full pours and on-site service (or are you guys talking about a different place? I kinda got lost with all the quoted threads). You need to make reservations in advance. They are open Thu-Fri 12-7, Sat 11-6, and Sun 11-5.

Made a visit/reservation on a recent road trip and was really wowed. From the lagers to the IPAs, top-notch beers across the board.

Picked up some cans last Saturday (Patch-Welly-Tideline) about 2:30 and was lucky to find a spot to park. Guy next to me was asked to move as he was blocking a side door to the brewery. As FF becomes more and more popular, I wonder how they are going to handle any additional parking?

I’m assuming you chose to go inside for a pour(or two or three) because you don’t need a parking spot to pick up cans.

Just curious what plans they have if any if additional parking is needed.

Does FF struggle with parking at times?

    see post #169.
If they stick with the reservation system for on-site I imagine they'll be able to handle the parking logistics.

Any word on this batch of burst. Looks a little less hazy on a recent Untappd check in. I know their beers are not super dense haze, and burst seems to be one of the clearer of their portfolio to begin with, but just curious if it still tastes like a standard solid burst batch.

@TmaveTebow Burst is new this week and today is first opportunity for pick up so those photos should be of a prior batch. If I can get to FF today, I’ll grab a can and report back.

oh awesome thanks. So that’s likely an older batch that dropped clear in the can after awhile. On that note, does anyone know the hop blend in burst? FF doesn’t say but I saw a post from an online article that said citra, simcoe, eukanot, and mosaic. Makes sense that the original or flagship ipa would be a blend of all the American bangers. Was surprised to see eukanot though - there was a time when it was still called equinox that it was making big moves in my book, but it kind of dropped off the scene and was more rare to find featured in beers. I absolutely love that hop. It reeks of cannabis and bell pepper. Not sure if it’s still as punchy in recent years, as I haven’t had much if any.

They have overflow parking past the brewery and the pick up window. The first double burst release they had like 30 cars parked down there. Basically near the new barrel house going towards the residence.

What’s the general lifespan on fox farm hops? How do the cans hold up at 4-6-8 weeks? Longer?

I think they hold up just fine even at 2 months but I’m not as much of a date **** as some others probably are.

Drinking my first can of Grodziskie; aroma is exponentially more intense than The Cabin or The Camp. Enjoyable but will definitely be off putting to most. Drinks clean and more manageable, has distinct malt heft to the body, akin to something in the 5% range. Unique and well done but just give me Rauchbier (and I’m a purebred Pole)!
