Framboise For A Cure 2014

Got there at 9:30 this morning and was # 30 in line, which was right at the fountain. About 10 minutes before 11 an employee came out and started passing out blue tickets to the people in line. If you had a ticket (they were little slips of blue paper actually) you were guaranteed to be able to purchase 4 bottles whether you got a table or just got in the bottle line when you went inside. We were inside and were at our table by 11:10. We were sitting at the closest table to the merch area, so we watched the FfaC fly out the door. They sold out shortly before noon, and I think the 3 people sitting next to us (2nd seating at that table) got the last 12. Oddly those folks did not have tickets, but the server went over and asked a lady that seemed to be in charge if he could sell them bottles. I think she went to look around to see if anyone else had tickets, and came back 10 minutes later and told him he could sell the bottles to them. I asked our server, who has waited on us several times before, how long they'd have bottles, and he told me 2-3 more days tops.

 

Sadly, they weren't pouring this at GABF, and it appears San diego will not be receiving a limited number of kegs this year. Sad++

 

Funny because they said they made 30% more this year. Wonder if they kept all the kegs for the brewpub because it definitely doesn't seem like there are more bottles.

 

Any chance bottles will last until Tuesday? Can anyone confirm?

 

I thought they were supposed to last two weeks...

 

Yeah it sucks, ah well. What makes it a bit worse is that I was in the brewpub not 2 weeks prior. C'est la vie.

At least I got some Crooked Stave bottles to hold me over.

 

I'm still thinking of going first thing tomorrow-can anyone confirm they've still got bottles after today?

 

Anyone go today and have any updates on what's left? Their FB wasn't helpful today.

 

Wait, I thought that is why a lot of us seek out better halves that hate beer. The only problem is that my girl mules and then takes a bottle as a fee.

 

My gf brought her dad to the beatification release. He bought a case for her but then tried it on tap. He said he might have to reconsider their previous agreement. He still calls the bottles in the cellar his.

 

I have a friend going to day. I'll report back as soon as I hear something.

 

I'm here now @ 10am, 10th in line, with 10 people behind me. Will see what I can learn about tomorrow...

 

Coming from Philadelphia on Sunday, hopefully there's still some left!

 

30th in line at about 10:30AM, just got inside and got a table and bottles. Line still past where I can see from inside, guessing botes will still sell out before noon, but no way to tell.

 

I cannot say for certain but based on what has been posted in this thread, I am doubting bottles will last until this Sunday. Although it would likely still be on tap.

 

Line actually just finished, everyone inside now, still see people picking up bottles at the merch counter.
