    Per their Facebook

"Framboise For A Cure" is being hand-bottled by these guys today with lots of love! 100% of the proceeds from sales of this beer will go to the Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation for their breast care services here in Sonoma County. Release date is October 1st at our brewpub. A beautiful pink beer for an awesome cause!

Might as well stay in the beat line then...

Hopefully kegs make it to san diego again. Always fun drinking beer and helping to save boobies by sitting on my ass watching post-season baseball =P

I'll be policing the parking lot for people trying to change clothes just to get back in line.

Does this typically sell out same day?

No. It should last a few days. Maybe a week. Draft should last most of the month.

I believe in the past they have limited the amount of bottles sold per day so that it lasts longer

Does this mean the lines will not be as crazy as they were for yesterday's release. No way do I ever want to do a 7 hour line.

Normally they allow a case to 6 bottles on the first day, then 2-4 bottles on the following days until sold out.

Nah, last year was 4 bottle limit even on oct 1. They capped daily limits to try to ensure a two week supply but miscounted and ended up selling out in 10 days give or take....

last year was 4 bottles per person on the 1st day, with a supply of 50 cases per day, then they dropped the limit to 3 bottles per day at some point, then 2 bottles, and then put the limit on the supply to 23 cases per day

Miscounted... nothing surprises me anymore after seeing the shit show in person this weekend. I love RR, but they don't seem to love us back.

They love us. But it's a tough love.

All they are doing is helping the traders land some month old zombie dust. If it was simple and easy there is no way you could get that for a beat.

I was able to get beat on Sunday, is the Framboise for a Cure going to be just as long of lines? Was wondering if I should try and go Friday after the hype dies down or all in all is this just an easier beer to obtain. Is there word on how many bottles per day they will be selling?

Historically, It's easier to get ffac if you are local but the main difference is you need to get in "early"...like probably before two because they sell out each day. So dropping in for dinner and an allocation won't be possible like it was for beat day 2.

This assumes they use the same system as last year.

They allocate it so lasts longer, but you probably won't be getting any towards the late afternoon or end of the night.

If they allocate a daily allowance again I would expect it to be available into the late evening. I think some days last year they did not sell out of daily allotment and carried it forward.

People don't come near and far for Framboise like they do for Beat, PtY, etc. You can probably expect an above average line on October 1st, and then much less from day 2 onward. As others have mentioned, get there in the morning a little ahead of opening... If you aren't in that first batch of people, the daily allotment will be sold out.
