I have read that the '14 batch of Framboos is pretty much flat at this point, but could (should?) carb up as it develops in the bottle. Can anyone offer a reasonable time frame for how long that should take based on experience? I must admit this is new to me and don't want to open a beer that I won't be able to fully appreciate until its peaked. Also not the most patient guy so.... Cheers!
i love still lambics... im sitting on a 14 framboos purely because reviews are saying it is young and unfinished.
Keep it in a cool dark place for 3 years… it may not be carbonated to your liking but either way you will be very pleased
Thanks guys, consesus seems to be sit on them and be patient - using a repurposed wine fridge to do this. Have a couple so might try them in 2-3 years and see how they do.
