Any thoughts on how well this one will hold up over time? Will the coffee or nut characters fade too much before thanksgiving?

Founders has said explicitly to not age this beer and to enjoy it fresh. So drink up!

Agreed on this not being a beer for long term aging. However, I don't think it will fade too much by Thanksgiving. The nut flavor may subside a bit, but that would be a good thing imo. The coffee flavor may also fade a bit, but it should still be 90% of the beer it is fresh on Thanksgiving.

Glad I read this. I bought two bottles, with the intent to drink one soon and hold on to the other for a while. Looks like I'll be consuming both bottles in the near future.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. You know, it's kinda automatic to take a limited release and send it down to the cellar. I'll drink this tomorrow or at most drink it next weekend.

I just cracked open a bottle of the most recent batch, it's held up wonderfully.

I rarely argue with a man named Frank, they generally know what they are talking about.

The better question is what degrades faster, hop or coffee flavor?
