I've heard it's still awaiting state approval...

 

apparently the stores have it, but the label has not been approved yet

 

last i heard (last week) it was sitting at the distributor awaiting label aproval

 

I am the beer purchaser for a store and as of this week it is still at the Distributors warehouse awaiting the approval. At least that is what my sales rep is telling me. As soon as I can though I'm going to get whatever I can.

 

Excuse my ignorance but there has to be a state approval of labels?

 

that is correct. every new product that comes in requires a certain amount of state paperwork...label approval being one of those steps

 

yes, each state has different laws regarding labels and all labels must be submitted to the state prior to sale to ensure those are followed

 

What's the time period? This is strange.

 

its usually pretty quick. i was told the state is just backed up right now.

 

I was told today that it would be mid to late August due to Founders forgetting to file the paperwork in a timely manner.

 

I heard something very similar and I also heard that the allocation was VERY low to GA this go round and that only the top founders accounts will be getting any of these. I'm assuming some will be on premise and few will be at the stores. We'll see.

 

It's safe to say if they got any of the Better Half release, they will be getting the F. Mountain.

 

already approved for Alabama and hitting the shelves on Wednesday

 

I've already gotten and drank my share of FMB already, so I'll be sure to leave it all for those who haven't.

Savannah Distributing released the Frangelic Mountain Brown today, so it will be hitting stores over the next few days. Also, some Green Flash/Founders Linchpin came in.
