I finally was able to get one of these from a friend of mine. I've heard a lot about this beer, good and bad. If you've had it, I'm curious to hear what you thought about it. Should I drink it soon, or keep it sitting around for a while? Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I figured that. Some people say it has gotten better with age, others not so much. I didn't give up anything crazy to get it. I'm assuming it's not going to get any better at this point, so I may just open it soon.

Has the coffee faded? After over a year I can't imagine it being there that much.

I don't drain pour, but FMB tested my morals.

Man, that bad huh? I'm a hazelnut fiend, so hopefully it's not that bad for me! Still excited to finally try it.

I hope you enjoy it but it reminded me of overly sweet, cheap artificial hazelnut flavored coffee. I hate to be negative because I know everyone has different tastes but this brew probably had the largest gap between expected and what I recieved. Let me know what you think.

I didn't take this negative at all. I appreciate your feedback. It's exactly what I was looking for. I will probably crack it open with some buddies this weekend. I'll let you know what I thought of it.

I thought it was decent. I split the bottle and it was very sweet. Not sure if I could drink the whole thing but I loved the hazelnut flavor and it was a good take on a brown ale. I think it was priced higher than it should be but I didn't buy it so it all worked out.

I just thought it was a bit thin bodied, tasty coffee and nuts

I've had it a few times in the past year and still have a bottle. I think it's pretty tasty, especially for the 9-10$ price point. I don't think I've ever had more than maybe 6 oz tho so I'm sure it could be a tad sweet and syrupy if you tried drinking a whole bottle. One of the few beers I've had in recent history that I preferred drastically on draft compared to bottle.

Just opened one with a couple friends a month ago and really liked it. It is sweet but that was expected. I loved the hazelnut flavor and the mild coffee. It's a solid 4/5 for me.

I had it on draft at the brewery and left 3/4ths of my pour untouched. As others have said, I found the hazelnut flavor too artificial and sweet. It almost tasted like Nutrasweet or something.

Keep in mind that I was drinking the beer right after Devil Dancer, so it's very possible my palette was torched.

Not a fan. Had it a few months ago and it really tested my drain pour ability but didnt drain it.

I can't help but think some of this is due to improper storage. To each their own tho.

Drink now, it's not getting any better. It was a very sweet brew, had the BA version on tap a few times this summer and that should have bottled that version, it was very tasty!

I know I'm in the minority here, but that's been my favorite of the limited 750s they've released so far (yes, even better than CBS, which I found incredibly overrated). I have no idea how it would age and many hate the hazelnut flavor, but to me it was very solid. To be fair though, I did share it with two other people. I don't know if I could polish off the entire 750 in one sitting.

If you like hazelnut iced coffee, you'll love it.
