The Lager Mill in downtown Frankenmuth is the best in the area. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/23819/view=beerfly

The Lager Mill is probably the only one worth checking out, great selection and prices

I haven't been to Lager Mill at all when I've been in Frankenmuth, but the prices seem to be a bit cheaper than they are at the beer store I frequent (Only by about 10-20 cents, but it adds up).

Truth be told when i went today i was quite disappointed in their selection. I know it is a small town and it is much better then what else is around but i was thinking i would find more things that i could not find in GR. Oh well looks like a trip to binnys is in order.

Your not going to find the most epic beers or whalez there it's just a good overall shop that allows u to get singles and gets a solid selection.

My view on binny's could be a touch jaded because the last time i went their this summer i walked out with a Parabola. Then the last time i went to south loop binnys was like a $250 trip. Loaded up on great divide, hoppin frog, goose night stalker, big john ect...

I was impressed with the amount of German brands they had, which was extensive. One must remember it is the Lager Mill, in Frankenmuth.

Besides maybe 12% Imports I'm not sure what you'd expect to find that's not available in a large beer market like GR.

*Vastly different than when we first opened 3 years ago? Not really, but we offer many more singles.
*New ownership? No, just getting better as we go.
*Canadian Thanksgiving? It kicked our ass.

Thanks for chiming in. Great spot you have there.
Maybe my memory was foggy, or maybe my awareness of beer has changed. The level of quality is a lot higher than I remember. But the market has also changed and there are a tonne of new ones out there than even a few years ago. Distro is also expanding.

I look forward to coming back. Cheers!
