Did these not get released this year (2012)? Is the release day planned? I have a buddy in Portland that is willing to go to the release if I provide ample notice. Thanks guys.
I've heard that Fred FTW might be the release at the November anniversary. Don't' quote me on that. Cherry Adam won't be released this year since they weren't brewing due to moving the brewery during Cherry season. This info was supplied to me in the tasting room when they first opened in 2010. Pretty much, I'm not sure if anybody other than Alan know's for sure what's being released and when. Michael was recently blended and bottled according to the Facebook page so we're currently awaiting a release date for that.
I heard Matt will be the November release this year. Also, wouldn't be surprised if they also do the Michael during the same release.
Considered that myself although I'd prefer to see it sooner. I guess that would give plenty of time for the bottles to carbonate. Great stuff on-tap. I'll take the full allocation for sure.
I haven't had a chance to try the recent batch yet, but from what I've heard, it's much better than the '09, which I wasn't a big fan of. Do you know what the allocation was for the last release?
Didn't attend the Michael dock sale, but a full case of Adam FTW was the last allocated beer from HotD. Bourbon Fred had no limit, Matt had a 6 bottle limit (but didnt' sell out for over a week), and Cherry Adam was a case. Hoping for a case of Michael.
The funny part of that post, is that I'm dead serious. The last batch of Michael was notoriously under-carbonated when released but has become a bit of a gusher. Cherry Adam and Bourbon Fred...well, that's a different story.
From a previous HotD tweet, Matt will be released this fall. I'm guessing that means during the November Anny sale. Hopefully there is more to go around than 6 bottles per person I'm also looking forward to Michael and I believe it has been bottle conditioning for a couple months already. Hopefully it'll be released before Matt but if it happens to be the same day then fine by me.
How long ago was this tweet? In December last year, someone on FB asked when Cherry Adam was going to be released and Alan replied that CA and FW will be out in November.
