Hey guys, If I remove the CO2 tank from my keg in my corny while in the kegerator, and forget to reconnect it; beer will flow from the faucet and fill up the tray. This is without anything touching it. What gives? Is that due to a leak some where?

Im glad you followed up your first post, I read it twice and ended up cross-eyed:confused:

if there is pressure in the keg it will flow out, provided the tap is open or there is a leak somewhere

take apart your faucet and clean it. if you are using a regular standard faucet with a spring, it could be that the spring is wore out or there is gunk keeping it from creating the seal.

Faucet is in the closed position. It is a perlic 650 ss (the one with flow control). There is no spring in it. Beer will come out, while in the closed position, if I close the CO2 valve from the regulator. It takes about 15 or so minutes for that to happen. I thoroughly took apart and cleaned the faucet before it's current use. Put in a new beer line as well. I tightened everything down. I'm just wondering if it is indicating a leak... has anyone had this problem before?

Maybe it might make more sense if I re-phrase this. I have 2 cornys; a wheat in the kegerator, a blond outside the kegerator conditioning / carbing. Once a day I'll close the CO2 valve on the hose, disconnect the CO2 from the wheat in the kegerator, and then attach the gas to the blonde and open the valve so it can carb a bit while conditioning. I close the valve, then I'll re-connect the CO2 to the wheat in the kegerator. 3 times now, I've forgotten to open the valve back up after connecting tothe wheat in the kegerator, and after 15 or 30 minutes, beer will start coming out of the faucet on its own and fill up the drip tray.
