Whoops! I'd be down for the 2014 pricing though...

Do they typically release Ralphius at Peddler's Village, as well as Perkasie? I've convinced my wife that we can do some Black Friday shopping there in the morning.

Think I may have gone overboard Friday; came home with 21 bottles of various Ralphius variants. Have never really aged any in the past but plan to start this year.

That's about what I did last year. No regrets.

Plenty of Ralphius variants available on line to ship to PA. Freewillfreeship code for free shipping on orders over $50. Showed restraint this year and only got three bottles.

Found out while in line Black Friday that the person in charge of Free Will’s barrel program has left the company.

Ive been trying to drink down my cellar these past few months and purposely didnt seek out a trade for Ralphius bottles this year. I believe I have 3 from last year on the shelf still
But now, online ordering and ship to my Mom's place in Middletown, where I just happen to be spending Christmas, seems unavoidable. Still so many variants available.

Yeah I wasn't going to buy any this year but then I caved. They really do have a unique Barrel program, I love the variety of barrels used the lack of addjunks.

I went with 1 OG and 5 of the most interesting sounding barrels. I think there were a ton more options earlier on, but had sold out

I think only one sold out online so far, I was on soon after the opening bell on Monday.

    Looked like

    - 30 Month Buffalo Trace Ralphius
    - 17 Month Knob Creek Ralphius
    - 17 Month Heaven Hill Ralphius
    - Two Year Triple Barrel (Makers Mark, Willet, Laird's)
    - 17 Month 15 Year 1792 Ralphius
    -17 Month Woodford Rye
-17 Month Maple Syrup Barrel Ralphius

Had all sold out when I was looking. Unless they're not available at the online store? Would have loved to try the BT, Knob Creek, and maple syrup ones

Most of the above were never available online, I think the only one that was and went relatively quickly was the Woodford Rye.

The 30 Month Buffalo Trace was sold out before 11am on Black Friday. I got my bottles around then at the tail end of the opening line, and that was the only variant that sold out. Then the Two Year Triple Barrel sold out shortly after I went through.

Does anyone have any info on the firing of their barrel program guy shortly after Black Friday and/or views on how it might impact Ralph?

Sort of got buried in the Imprint news that came out the same day. All I saw on social was that he had apparently been asking for “more resources.” Unclear if that means more salary, more staff, more space, more barrels, a new forklift…

I dont know any more info, but in his public Instagram profile he added "ex" to his position, so he's definitely gone

Seems like Free Will might have been trying to send a public message of "nothing to worry about, the production of Ralphius marches on" with this post on December 10th:

Maybe they are just scaling back on the Sour beer program?

I don't know anything, but changing regular Ralphius to a "blend" of barrels in grounds for dismissal. jk

I've had the Cognac and double barrel Utopias so far and they are outstanding. Just the hoodoo left for me.

I appreciate @jmdrpi chiming in. Maybe there was a strong difference of opinion on the sour program? Based on Nate's user name and the fact that those bottles seem to take a long time to sell? Just conjecture on my part.

Regardless, I've appreciated his work and I'll be curious to see where he lands next.
