Where has this little gem been hiding? I've had a couple of their beers around MontCo, usually at Whole Foods or one of the Blue Dogs. We finally decided to take the trip over there on Saturday and I have to say I'm quite impressed. Mike (who is an absolute riot to talk to, by the way) took us through the gamut with samples of all 8 beers they had. Every single one was at least above average, with a few being legitimately excellent. Both low and high ABV had their bright spots, with the 4.5% porter and 8+% Coffee Oatmeal Brown being my 2 favorites. Unfortunately they didn't have any more Hop Geek which they said they can't even keep on tap for a week. We ended up with a growler of COB which I promptly slurped down (and subsequently passed out on the couch). They seem like good people all around, and I hope they continue their success as they start bottling. It's just a short trip up 309 for any of you MontCo guys looking for something to do on a Saturday. No pints for sale unfortunately but samples are free and plentiful, and growlers are pretty cheap ($10 for lower ABV, $15 for the higher ones).
