Is this gone at the brewery? I got a couple of bottles on Sunday, and Ralphius, and was going to circle back for another round. Curious if you guys know anything. I've heard a couple dozen cases went into distribution, anyone seen it anywhere? Thanks!
I thought Ralphius was terrible. I drove all the way up there to try it/buy some. I drank 3/4 of my pour and left with no bottles.
Was not expecting much as I'm not a fan of most of Free Will's beers, but I thought it was well done, even considered buying some bottles but did not. What about the beer put you off?
I thought it was way too boozy and had this weird bite astringent flavor that was just off. I have high standards when it comes to BA Stouts though. If its not as good or better than BCBS I dont see the point in buying any when I have cases of that in my basement.
Ralphius was pretty good this year. Its definitely boozy and could use some time in the cellar to mellow out. I still think last years version was better. I think Black Friday was on point as well. Would of just loved to have a bit more AB flavor in the profile.
I really enjoyed the Ralphius, but agree it could use some age. The bottles I got went straight to the cellar.
