If I can hit up one brewery for a flight or two tomorrow afternoon, which one of these would the locals pick? Or if there are better options on a Tuesday afternoon before 5:00 in that area, I would love the advice!

    Free Will, hands down.

Doylestown or Prism second, Round Guys third.

Yeah, Free Will. Round Guys is ok. Prism and Doylestown are both awful.

I assume you left off Tower Hill since it looks like they are closed Tuesdays. Only tried their stuff once, but probably would put them similar to Doylestown.

I picked up a 6 pack of Free Will's Community Kolsch a few months ago while in NJ for work (I'm from NY) I love a kolsch style so I buy it whenever I see it.
It was terrible, like bad homebrew - it couldn't have been right so I contacted the brewery directly. Ends up that store wasn't in their distribution anymore so this undated 6 pack must have been ancient. Found out later it was in different packaging than the current 6 packs. They apologized even though it wasn't their fault at all and sent me another 6 pack (which I really enjoyed) plus 3 other beers to try. So yes I recommend Free Will, they went above and beyond for me.

Are the Freewill can releases reasonable? As in can I just walk up at 3:30-4pm and grab some with little to no wait?

A year or two ago I sent an e-mail to Free Will asking about their Kolsch. I informed them that I had a box of their Kolsch in my hand but after turning that box over in many directions I could find no dates on the box. My question was pretty simple: how can I determine how old the beer in that box is? I informed them that I chose to not purchase that beer without knowing how old the beer was. Guess what the response was? The answer: they did not respond to my e-mail. I have never purchases a Free Will since that time:
    • No dates = no purchase
    • Not being able to take the time to respond to a customers question = no purchase
    Non-cheers to crappy customer service!

P.S. Although they seemed to have time to respond to you so: lucky you!!

Yes yes freshness this freshness that. Must be the number one BA gripe besides line waiting.
I don't fault a business for missing an email response, stuff happens. Maybe they didn't have an answer at that time? The replacement 6 pack I received wasn't an enclosed box so maybe they were working on a change at the time. Don't recall if it was dated, figured it was fresh.
I'd cut them so more slack because they actually have a year round Kolsch - and no coffee, mango, pineapple, Mosaic added.

Please feel free to continue to purchase their beers; that would be helpful to them.

    They have lost my business.

    Cheers!
