Here's a question for you experienced folk:

In planning the layout for the share (which will include a bunch of tables put together to make one really long ass one... we're excited) we thought about the following idea:

How would people feel if the share were arranged so that certain tables were for certain styles? So this table has Sours, this one has Imperial Stouts, this one has other Barrel Aged beers... etc? Or do people prefer the free-for-all method? My thought is that a lot of folks might like the idea of hanging in a certain area with their friends and maybe this isn't so great.

Just an idea I thought I'd throw out there (and of course we wouldn't try to police this or anything, so if you took an IPA to the Imperial Stout table, it's not like there would be anything to stop you)

I prefer the free for all method as it was easier to stay in one area as opposed to walking around to all the tables. I stayed at the same table the entire time for SMABRD and thought it went well.

I say free for all. I do not see the separate tables working out as people will be with their friends and not move to another table just to open a bottle of that style.

Free for all, the rest of the planning seems great right now I would say it doesn't need any tweaking

Like a "Over 0.5% ABV" table and then a small table with the water pitchers?

Downtown is pretty much your closest option, unless you want to stay somewhere south side

They'll be determined by the turnout.

I unfortunately missed the morning festivities, but I just thought that people should know that as of 5PM, there was a healthy amount of all 4 bottles available at the taproom.

You missed being able to obsessively 'check in' the smallest pour of Blaeber you can imagine.

Seriously though, really fun and very well run. That cask strength BA La muerta was banging.
