Freetail Old Bat Rastard Release

    Freetail will release Old Bat Rastard on March 3rd. Who is planning on making it? I have some good stuff for a bottle share.

    Also I have plenty of extra beer I'd like to trade in person. I will post a list a little later if anyone is interested.

    Founders IRS
    Pumpking

    That's far from a complete or final list. I'm trying to downsize to make room for a couple of carboys for my homebrewing operation.

    I'm really hoping to make it, just found out today, Kevin didn't request off, so unless I come alone(very highly unlikely) chances are looking grim. I even had babysitter lined up already too. :slight_frown:

    I'll be at the release. I'll bring a few for the tasting, but I can't drink much since I'm driving to Houston at around 1:00. :slight_frown:

    Unfortunately I am making a trip to SA that was already planned for this weekend. I will be going to Freetail this Saturday (my first time Ever!) so I will represent the BAs early. I hope that they still have some bottles left by next Sunday since I have a friend that can only go on that day. I heard they have 660 bottles of this so I am thinking that it will work out. Also, does Freetail have an updated taplist online anywhere? I am a nerd and like to figure out what I want to have before I go to a bar!

    Freetail usually puts a bunch of special taps on for bottle releases. BM Scott maybe he can help you out.

    I wouldn't bet on bottles still being available on Sunday. I expect the turnout to be smaller than La Muerta, but most everyone will go through the line twice. They announced on facebook a few weeks ago that they bottled 55 cases(660 bottles). Which is one of their highest bottle counts to date, so you never know.

    I know for Three they had about 150 and it seemed that everybody that made the trip got to have a couple bottles. As long as they don't let people run away with 10 bottles of OBR I guess there is a shot for some leftovers on Sunday. Now you got me nervous!

    On Facebook, I believe it was, they commented about all people being able to get at lease 4 bottles. If this is the case, I am sure some of us can help out those who cannot be there to get any.

    Once I get time this weekend the list will grow. If I don't get any hits I will just bring a few extras for the bottle share.

    You never know. The turnout should be a little higher this time as there were other events scheduled at the same time as the Three release. That said 660 is the highest bottle count they have produced outside of La Muerta '11. My honest opinion is it will sell out Saturday.
