Freetail Sept 15th Bottle Release

    Good thing I'm a master of disguise. Going to try on my John costume. Just need a bald cap and a bad singing voice and should be a dead ringer. Oh and lots and lots of felt.

    As long as the plant doesn't blow up, I will be there.

    Sounds like a perfect day drive. Might try to round up a Fort Worth crew...I know we miss having a good local brewpub (The Covey had some tasty shit in it's day)

    What are the usual limits on bottles? Does it get crazy early? Looking forward to it, trying to figure out when to get there..

    There haven't been limits for the past couple big releases (OBR and Ananke). OBR just sold out within the past month or so. Ananke went faster, partly because people were buying it by the case at the release. Even then it was still available for about a month or so afterward. I don't anticipate a bottle limit for this upcoming release, but we'll see. It depends on the overall bottle count for each beer, which hasn't been announced.

    It's usually a 50/50 split of Freetail sours and Real Ale Mysterium Verum series beers, plus their collaboration beer, which is a mole beer this year made with chili peppers, raisins, cinnamin, cumin, roasted almonds, and pumpkin seeds. It's well worth the trip if you're able to make it.

    I bought a case of Ananke about a good two or three months after release and was told at the time there was about thirteen cases left after that. I wish I had bought more, because I didn't even trade that many away, just drank them all and now I just have one bottle left...
