Only one of the best annual bottle releases in Texas. :grinning:

Interested to see how they'll do this release...wristbands, a line or some other method. Is this the event with the huge bottle share last year? I didn't make it last year.

Every year the bottle shares have gotten larger and larger. Last year was the largest I've seen. I presume it will be done similar to last year with wrist bands. Who knows?

Can't wait. I actually miss some of you assholes. Not @jamescain though, he is the worst.

Yes, and things were a little out of control. I think the bottle share begin shortly after 5 am (yes, am) and Scott pretty much said that's never happening again. I got there not long after 7 am (sales began at 11) and still barely made it onto the "First 100" list.

That being said, Freetail events are ALWAYS a good time!

Bring all your infected beers Glen. I'm sure we can pass them off as sours.

I actually do not have much to share. I don't really trade anymore or care about beer for that matter.

Met a lot of great friends because of Freetail, so I kind of have to be there if this is truly the last release at the old location. I'm sure I have a dusty Black Tuesday or 3 laying around.

We started at 5:30 AM with a BA Abraxas that the Matt brought. It was a bit out of control I agree.

I haven't been to Freetail in well over a year and definitely miss all you assholes. ;-)
....And the awesome guys who make the awesome beer I drive all that way to buy are missed just a tad more.

Previous post about this year's event:

Scott said September 2014, now it's August. Any reason for the change @FreetailBrewing ?
I'd guess the beer just matured faster....

    Post with last year's details:
    http://blog.freetailbrewing.com/2013/09/17/super-mega-awesome-details-repost/

    And post-event reflection:

The wristband system seemed to work well, with just minor tweaks desired tmk. The bottleshare/patio policy is the difference, but entirely reasonable.

My gf can't go, so I will probably ride with John. I still believe he was The Missing Link in World Class.

Gonna have to try to make this. I had a sweet time last year and met some cool arrows.

Either way @Grendle, I will interrogate him during the car ride to find out whether or not he was The Midnight Rider or The Yellow Dog or both.

For those of you that know John, I don't think Glen is far off. I'll ask for a authgraph next time on my 8X10 B/W Missing Link WCCW pic.
