Fremont BB Darkstar & BB Abominable

    Just looking to get some info on these two big brews from Fremont. I have a soft spot for the brewery since I capped off an amazing vacation in Washington there last summer, but have only really had their hoppy stuff thus far. I really want to get my hands on both of these so I can sample their big, dark brews as well.

    So are either of these particularly hard to get, and if so, how hard? About how much do they run?

    I believe that KDS and B-Bomb are both brewery-only releases (from the reasarch I've done they run about $15/bottle), but I do not know for certain. I was lucky enough to meet an awesome trader in Seattle back in August who helped me out with both, but I don't see either of them in the trade forum very often. I'd say put a post up offering similarly priced, brewery-only releases and see what bites you get.

    KDS is brewery release only and sells out very quickly. Though it's a reasonable $15, given its rarity you may have to pony up some of the good stuff to get a bottle. BBomb is more widely available and makes it to the stores around here.

    This was going to be next question. I'm pretty sure KDS came out recently, but BBomb comes out later in the winter.

    KDS is out now (since last Friday), though I'm not sure if it's still available. We've been drinking it at the brewery and hoarding the bottles. BBomb comes out at the end or early the next year and is available in stores for the majority of the year.
