Cool! If it's not at least somewhat mellow we might not crack open any bottles or drink at all in line; playing it by ear and just making sure we don't contribute to a bad situation. I feel like that even at the bigger releases with lines longer than ever there are less wasted people. This past release was the first time we partook.

I wouldn't be surprised either way. Their releases are more popular than ever on one hand, but on the other hand they seem to have perfected the art of creating more and more of their amazing barrel aged beers.

Perhaps someone can give insight into how many cases they've produced.

True that. My experience at the B2K release was so positive it encourages me to participate this time

    Fremont, God bless them,
eschews talk of case counts. Beer
    shan't be judged that way.

Now, that’s about the biggest endorsement I could hope for in this crazy world. We try to make these releases community-oriented, tamp down the shit lord factor and make enough great beer for the working man at a decent price....while it lasts, it seems to be working...let’s just not hype this scene too much and enjoy what we have at this moment

Yeah figured they must have sent the BBADS + variants at the same time; just thought it was interesting/odd as I've never seen that.

Release coordination snafu w/ regional distributors? Seems not-so-great that it hits elsewhere in the country before it's even officially released at the brewery, let alone the local Seattle mkt...

Doesnt personally concern me but yeah seems like a distributor shouldnt do that just for the sake of appearance.
