Has anybody seen this in Colorado or heard word on its distribution this year? It landed earlier in October last year. Seems like its taking awhile to get out here.

Give it time; we will definitely get it but Fremont usually takes a bit to make it into the state. It will be the same with Coffee KDS and Spice Wars.

Rusty Nail showed up months late, as with Coffee/Cinnamon B-Bomb. But last year's KDS showed up earlier than this already. Maybe they're waiting to send out all 3 versions at once. In that case we'll probably get it next week. Maybe.

Ancient Ones took a little less than a month to make it out so between that and Rusty Nail, it stands to reason that it's just taking longer this year than last.

Boise got it last week, so I would guess you can't be much behind. We had Spice Wars and Coffee in the warehouse as well, they just wouldn't release it till Monday since the release date was this past Saturday at the brewery.

We got some variants before Seattle last year :grinning:

The more important question is "will I be able to buy one before all of the truck chasers and campers clear the shelves?"

That is the indeed the big question... For the last few years, I haven't had an enormously difficult time getting a bottle or two here in the Springs. We get a LOT less than Denver, but also don't seem to have the same degree of crazies running around chasing. We got shut out on Ancient Ones and Rusty Nail though, so I guess we'll see if we even get any.

It's going to be harder this year than the last two. I expect to hear about people getting 20 of them this year instead of hearing about 20 people getting one.

That damn sure was the case with Ancient Ones from what I saw. I am glad my WA hookup got me two of each variant so I don't have to go hunting (as hard).

I think word got around that Fremont isn't just the place from the PNW with the dusty unassuming cans.

Their Field to Ferment pale (draft) is one of the better beers I've had recently, as was the Cowiche Canyon Fresh Hop (Citra & Simcoe) can I had the other day.

I also love their oatmeal stout. I think these are all I've tried from them, but have been highly dick-pumped about all of the above.

BBA Dark Star was my my favorite beer from GABF.

    That is all...
